On the Bridal Veil track Ashburton Borough taught Hamish not to start water fights with a quarter full water bottle.
In the last week of term 3 the adventurous team from Broadfield school came to the hills. The mountain weather was in a bad mood but the class took everything in its stride to visit Punchbowl Falls, the Bealey Chasm and the Otira Viaduct. The class also dropped in to make a social call on Arthur's Pass School.
Punchbowl falls put on a good show, struggling with strong winds to reach the bottom.
